While fiction is a lot of fun to write, when a for-hire writing gig changes lives, that's pretty cool, too. And I enjoy helping other people develop their stories. So, I do a little bit of everything.

Author Services: I usually do a combination comprehensive/copy edit. I sometimes do Beta reads or proofreading. ​I guide authors through the self-publication process, do some formatting and design work, and am open to co-authoring or ghostwriting if the project's interesting. I even illustrated a picture book, Cranky Cricket, under special circumstances.

Businesses & Non-Profits Writing/Editing for Hire: My Master's degree from NAU focused on professional writing and editing a variety of documents for specific audiences. Combined with my other education and experience, I am particularly well-prepared to write and edit user manuals and other technical info for non-specialists, social histories for sentence mitigation, grant proposals, and scripts for instruction or advertising.

Speaking/Teaching: I have experience teaching teens and adults in high school, community college, and workshop settings - basic skills, career preparation, writing, and self-publishing.

I've presented on self-publishing at conferences, community colleges, and in an online webinar. I've spoken about writing, my work, and related topics in interviews.
